Getting to Ensenada
Ensenada is easily accessible by various modes of transportation. Here’s how you can get there:
By Air: While Ensenada doesn’t have a major international airport, you can fly into Tijuana International Airport (TIJ), which is about a 1.5-hour drive from Ensenada. From the airport, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use a shuttle service to reach Ensenada.
By Road: Ensenada is well-connected by highways. The main route is Mexican Federal Highway 1, which runs along the Baja California Peninsula. If you’re driving from the United States, you can cross the border at Tijuana and continue south on Highway 1.
Other Modes of Transport:
* Bus: Several bus companies operate routes from Tijuana and other cities in Baja California to Ensenada. Every two hours from the Airport at about USD $20.
* Cruise: Ensenada is a popular cruise destination, with many cruise lines making stops there.
